Date: August 3rd (...uh, mid-day?) Location: Monsters Inc. Front Entrance (exterior)
Bill squeezed the third stress ball to a soft pulp, sighing as he dropped it in the open briefcase on the seat beside him, right beside two other decimated balls. He grabbed a fourth, trying his hardest not to wear this one out in a few minutes too. The old behemoth resumed to staring out the tinted windows of his horned-limousine; the car wasn't his personal choice, but a vehicle for one of his standing to use in such...interactions. Perhaps it was to be intimidating? To show a sense of power that would alleviate any concerns of 'problems' arising? Certainly it was not a show of wealth, Bill had little longing for that concept now; instead wanting something money shouldn't have to buy...and that was why he was here today.
Outside the windows, a short distance away, was the front entrance of Monsters Inc; which Bill had been camping out front of for the past hour or so. He had already cleared half of the 'rations' he had brought with him, trying to be patient for his target to appear. Thankfully it was not the hotter of seasons. Fall was quickly approaching and the weather had been cool today. Still, he felt some sweat underneath his fur, underneath the white shirt and black business suit; not from waiting in the limo, but from nerves.
He knew the defining point he wanted to make, the iron-clad demand he was going to make, but how to go about it in less...aggressive ways were making him hesitant. There were reasons for it, a tactical way he may have to go about this. He was torn between the duty he had for someone else, and a terrible realization that may come about if he were to handle things sloppily.
He hadn't informed the other Board members of what he was doing, but he was certain a few of them knew, were smart enough to guess what he would be doing. Those, however, wouldn't care, had already planned out their own little schemes, he was sure. But he wasn't going to think on that now. He needed to stay focused. He had to wait. Wait until that Randall Boggs came out of the factory and they could have a little 'chat'.

As it stood, he didn't have to wait long; his quarry as it were was pushing open the front doors of the factory, not wearing the fedora and trench coat he'd sport later that night. He seemed to be grumbling, clearly agitated or worked up about something. It might seem like typical "Boggs behavior," but given he'd just learned about Jake's abuse, one could hardly fault him if they knew the circumstances.
He paused mid-step though, a look of consternation on his face as he gazed ahead to the white limo parked at the end of the long thoroughfare that led into Monsters Inc. Oh great... what was this? An idling car meant they were waiting for someone, and he only hoped it wasn't him. How had word spread so fast? Unless of course it was... someone from the factory, and that he dreaded. Was it Sullivan? If so, he'd quickly vanish and get out of here; he wanted nothing to do with the blue furball right now after all. Tensed, he began walking again, ignoring the car for now in case it wasn't meant for him. He really needed to get something to shield his eyes from this summer sun; despite it being cooler, he'd need to pick up a fedora or something. He used to wear one during his tenure at the factory, considering it stylish and in vogue with the overall feel of the city.

Bill narrowed his eyes from behind the tinted, reinforced glass. Boggs was agitated. Did he already...? No, if he tried something, he would be dead, or at least the authorities would have been pulling up to the entrance. Was he angry at being unable to commit what, obviously, he would have wanted? Probably so...well, Bill was going to make short work of that intent.
"Follow him," Bill instructed his driver, another bulky monster in the drivers seat who merely nodded at Bill's request. This monster was a professional, doing what he was told and not a thing more. He was aware Bill was driven by something, though it was not his concern, and when a monster with horns is driven by something...you don't get in the way.
The limo followed Boggs along the curve of the road, almost as if teasing the lizard monster about the suspicion he was being waited for...if not, outright confirming it.

As Randall continued walking along, he was acutely aware that he was being followed. That limo was starting to slowly drive after him. Dammit... if only his favorite haberdasher was around this corner... but it wasn't. He began increasing speed, seeing an alley up ahead he could duck into and then "vanish," using his ability to get him out of this.
He quickened his step, starting to almost half-jog as he was walking very rapidly now; if that limo kept pace, this would be it; he'd be making himself scarce and he'd be escaping from whatever danger this was that presented itself. His heartrate quickening, he kept up his more rapid pace, trying to stay ahead of things as he moved closer to that alley.

Bill grunted, annoyed by this, he told his driver to suddenly turn into the nearest exit, the alley Boggs could take, cutting the lizard monster off from leaving. He was quite aware, in his duties of the Board, of what Boggs was capable of. He had signed off on the lizard monster's employee application himself, albeit with not huge regard, but he had searched his files to read it again do to...certain reasons.
Boggs was quick, yes, smart, yes, and could make himself invisible by blending into environments; fantastic abilities for a Scarer. Of course, if Boggs thought he could escape this, Bill was going to prove him wrong.
The limo screeched to a halt, acting as a barrier, and in short order, Bill told his driver to get out, while at the same time lowering the window on his side, showing only the top of his head as he peered at the lizard monster. His driver, a big burly mass of fur and a horn on his nose, calmly exited the vehicle and came over to open the door on the other end of the passenger area of the limo, waiting with one hand on the door, the other in pocket.
Peering from over the lowered window, Bill stared at Boggs, an intense glare far more potent than his son could ever make.
"Get in...Mr. Boggs. We have some important things to discuss," Bill told him, his voice stone-cold. "I SUGGEST you simply accepted that we need to have a little chat...but if you'd rather be shown you have no choice in the matter, well, that's up to you."
The driver grunted, the broad hand in his pocket flexing.

As the car pulled around in front of him, blocking his exit, he prepared to vanish, crouching a bit and getting ready to spring forward if he needed to. When the chauffeur stepped around and moved to the side of the vehicle, he was at first puzzled, then noted the face of... was that Bill Sullivan? Oh great... Sulley's father was literally staring him down, asking him to get into the car. Snarling a little, he gave him a stare that shot daggers from it.
"What do you want?" he snapped. "I'm not your employee anymore, you know? And as a matter of fact... your son is doing damn well for himself, isn't he?" he asked, his voice dripping nothing but acid. "I'd rather not." he replied bluntly to the offer to get into the car, not leaving his crouch, but relaxing just a tad. "I have nothing to say to you, just so you know." He looked away briefly. "You'd do best to steer clear. I'm not in the mood for this right now." he crossly stated.

Bill regarded Boggs like a piece of driftwood, unimportant and beneath him, but that wasn't his intention. Still, intimidation. The two had never met personally, though Bill was sure his face on posters or company property had still been around Boggs and his son...even if he wasn't. He bristled at the mention of his son, narrowing his brow.
"I doesn't matter what MOOD you are in, we are having this discussion," Bill told him, looking to his driver outside and nodding. The driver nodded back, withdrawing from his pocket...a cellphone, a rather bulky one at that, which he held up to his...ear, wherever that was, and seemed set to dial.
Bill calmly turned his head back to Boggs, his face anything but. "All it takes is one call from me, or by proxy, such as Steven here, with my approval, and you'll be stowed in one of the cells of the MAW by evening. It won't take much for them to believe in such a short time you would become a problem than being useful."

Looking to the phone, Randall's eyes flashed, the emerald becoming particularly intense as he stared hard at Bill here. "You bastard." He hissed, shaking his head. "What do you want from me? I said I have nothing to say to you." He reiterated, baring his teeth. "You want to talk, you come out here onto the sidewalk... no way in hell am I getting into a car with you... sorry Bill but that isn't happening." He growled, still tensed, and still ready to attack if he needed to. He pointed to the pavement in front of him, indicating he meant what he said.
Whatever this furball wanted with him, it couldn't be good. Sullivan's father... just what was this crap about? He was starting to actually fear for his life, a feeling all too familiar with him thanks to his time in the human world, and if he couldn't get him out of that car well... he'd rather take his chances in jail than with this guy. Bastard was trying to take his freedom... of course he was. If it wasn't one Sullivan ti was a damn other trying to ruin his life.

"A few minutes of time," Bill replied simply to answer. "And while you may have nothing to say to me, I certainly do to you."
Narrowing his eyes, Bill grunted, pushing the door on his side open. The hinges buckled, and the driver backed up a step as he emerged, the towering, dark purple behemoth standing up and adjusting the tie of his suit. Above eight feet high, he towered over the lizard monster and, despite age, the bulk of his muscle was easy to be seen. He could probably snap Randall like a twig if he wanted to, and at this range....
"Do. Not. Test. Me."
War-like battle did things to a person. It gave you a presence, a look, something you don't want to show loved ones or friends who had not experienced such hardship with you; because it would scare them. It was a look that emphasized the words that Bill spoke, and his eyes glared with domineering glints. He didn't much use this look, especially as refined as it were now, in his Scareing days, but if he did, no child would stop themselves from screaming, much less soak their sheets in fear; and if the lizard monster wasn't so brave-stupid, he would feel the same way.
Boggs had probably seen some horrid things in the human world, but Bill would not care to let them stop him from imposing his will against the lizard monster's....

"I'll test you all I want." he growled, glad there was distance between them for now. He wasn't going to back down from this, despite the awesome size of Bill. "Way I see it, your son owes me... a lot for illegally banishing me!" He snapped. "What do you have to say about that?" he asked, trying to turn the conversation to his advantage. "You want to answer that, Bill?" he asked, practically every time he used his name, it coming out sarcastically.
"Your son ruined my life, and I'm so done with the Sullivans and their entitlement! You'd better conjure up some tale of penitence, cause I ain't interested otherwise." He continued, still growling his words out through clenched teeth.

Boggs was already into his second bit of ranting, about 'entitlement' or something, Bill didn't hear him, didn't care to. As soon as he brought up the 'banishment' word, Bill's composure took a hit, and he knew it. This was a reason to have this discussion in private, so that Bill could have the safe space to keep some layer of calm, but Boggs just had to push him; had to mention THAT.
Down his back and straightened tail, the membrane-like flows between Bill's spikes glowed for an instant, and then seemed to leave a bluish-trail...because Bill was no longer in front of the limo.
He was right beside Boggs, right up close to him, one arm around the lizard monster's upper shoulders; it seemed casually, but the force was of a hold, keeping the Boggs in place. The other hand was gripping one of Randall's lower hands in a kind of 'shake'...but it wasn't that at all. In two places, Bill was holding the lizard monster physically, but to any passersby or distant lookers, it looked as if monsters were having a friendly hug and handshake....
Bill tried to hold in the coughing, knowing he had overexerted himself. He hadn't had a need to use a certain talent his son had not inherited, something left behind by true behemoths; a sort of, adrenaline, electrical-pulse through the body that could propel someone short distances. Perhaps, in the past, it was the final strike to take down prey, or to close the gap with competition...but at his age, it was more of a strain for Bill to use it. In fact, it hurt like---
"I'm only...going to say this...once," Bill started, his voice uneven, as if tired---though he did affirm his two grips so Boggs didn't think he was weak enough to let him go....
"You...stay away...from my son."

Surprised at the ability, Randall was regretting not having just escaped earlier from this. He ground his teeth, looking to Bill with nothing but venom in his eyes. "Your son isn't as innocent as you imply he is." He growled. "He banished me illegally... and the fact you're dodging the question speaks volumes about you." He hissed. "You let me go now or you're going to have a real issue on your hands, Bill." Against that sarcastic tone with his voice, Randall was ready to spring into action at any second.
"I'm giving you a chance... I want justice." he snarled. "Whatever that means for your son is whatever that means for your son." He suddenly shot downwards, attempting to use his smaller size to escape before he cloaked, vanishing and trying to do a backflip onto the wall behind him so he could rapidly begin climbing it. While the collar would paint his location, he hoped he moved quickly enough to do all this, delivering a swift kick to Bill's thigh to get him to release his hand. If he did any more he'd most likely be shocked, and already he could feel a building energy, electricity ready to stun him into unconsciousness if he went any further...

Bill didn't release his hold, but his there was a tenseness there, a tell about something Randall had just said....and then the threat came, pulling Bill back to the other side to this conundrum. The momentary lapse with Randall speaking about his son allowed the lizard monster to escape the shoulder hold, but Bill was through letting this creature---no, Boggs---no, monster---no, this...he couldn't---
---Bill relied on his anger, an automotive response, something he didn't like doing now. He wanted to stop doing it, but this Boggs was pushing too many sensitive buttons. The lizard monster thought he could get away, thinking a kick could somehow hurt him---perhaps thinking Bill elderly, it would hurt more---but the behemoth didn't release his grip. Instead, he dragged the lizard monster back to the ground by forced, holding onto the hand he had a vice grip on.
If Boggs wasn't going to listen with faculties intact, maybe a little shock from his collar would do it. Naturally, he had been informed about the little object and had been disgu---no, he...it was...necessary. Yes, necessary. It would shock the lizard monster, painfully, stunning him for awhile, maybe even knocking him out. A good little lesson, to be sure, but having the lizard monster completely unconscious was not preferable...so he laid his tail against the lizard monster's neck as he hit the ground, probably triggering his collar---actually aiming to take some of the electricity harmlessly into his own body so it didn't black the lizard monster out completely...just leave him laying there, unable to act out.

While Randall escaped the shoulder grip, he couldn't get him to release his grip on his arm, crying out as he was brought backwards. Struggling to rise, he felt the tail around him, instinctively lashing out, slamming a fist down on it to get it to release him, but that set his collar off, the lizard monster crying out as an electric shock was delivered to his body, Bill picking up a fair amount of the electricity due to his tail wrapped around Boggs's neck.
As the pain seared through his body, burning him and causing him to sink downwards to his knees, he became visible again, tears in his eyes as he gazed up to Bill, fairly helpless thanks to the shock. "What the hell do you want from me?" he yelled, breaking down and starting to sob. "What more do you want, you bastard? Your damn family's taken everything from me! What do you want?" he demanded again, his voice weak and cracking. "I can't give you anything else... just let me go... I can't give you anything else... please..." He looked down, an utterly broken monster. If only he could've fought him on equal terms... but that was impossible given the collar... it made an already difficult fight next to impossible, and he felt that utter helplessness again... that powerlessness he'd gotten so used to in the human world... he had nothing left, and he knew it, and all he could do was cry in humiliation in front of this larger monster, as yet again a Sullivan had gotten the better of him.

Steven, the driver, backed away...this whole situation becoming increasingly uncomfortable, but stayed near the car, glancing at anyone stupid enough to get close. They wouldn't want to be a part of this either... Bill grunted as he felt the tingle go through him, but he kept the tail there. It didn't hurt much, not as much as his burst from earlier, but he wasn't going to let Boggs suffer...enough to make fall unconscious...of...course. Bill stared with anger at first at being called that, but as Boggs talked, his expression broke in segments. His neck turned, his head almost like it wanted to look away, but he couldn't stop starring at the monster---no, Boggs---before him. This situation...Bill didn't want this. They could have just had a talk in the car...away from prying eyes. He would just state his demand and Boggs could have just walked away from everything but.... He had to...he had to just...defend himself---like he should. All that tough talk before, reduced to this...it was just...just like... "Wait, please, don't don't!"
"....aaarrgggggHHH!" Bill reached down, grabbing the lizard by the neck, or more directly, by the collar, and pulled him into the alley. He could have slammed Boggs against the wall, but instead he simply propped him against it, moving the lizard's various hands to lay on various pieces of protrusive architecture or accessory, helping to prop him up. When it seemed obvious Boggs didn't have the strength for it, Bill used held him up with firm hands on his shoulders. He resisted a moment moving one hand from the collar...a part of him wanting to simply break the blasted thing then and there. It was...necessary but...he... "I DON'T want to take anything from you," Bill said, but it wasn't completely in anger, there was...regret? "You should have just stepped in and we could have simply talked---" he continued, throwing one hand in the air, then quickly using it to prop up the lizard monster again so he didn't fall to the ground. "---but no, you wanted...you wanted to spit your venom about James, when you KNOW he's my son! How did you think I would react to that huh!? We could have just---you only had to---it would have just taken a few---I didn't want to fight like this or---" the behemoth went on, shaking his head and barking out the side with each comment...almost as if he was...arguing with himself. Taking a few deep breaths, he tried to calm himself. Anger. That was the comfort zone. Seeing Boggs like...that...made him angry...but not at the lizard monster...
